Men who speak in bars

last week again as big, with Barney version (the novel, I clarify that the film still have not seen), I realized that there was a kind of scenes whose appearance looked Grand Illusion: those in which Barney is seated in his favorite bar, Dink, as has long been doing, and where, apart from drinking like a Cossack, hit the string with anyone. In that bar all parishioners enthusiastically engaged the drink, but it gives the body, including liquor and alcohol, also to release taunts and geese, and philosophy statements, remember old times, bluffing and long winded speech that nobody heard, repeated as a ratchet chopped or insulting, and, very occasionally, to risk confidence. Few, of course, with half-words, and interspersed with mystification, no wonder that talk of a world very masculine, tough, ironic, reserved, even macho. Nor is it strange why the figure of the drinker almost speechless. The night lengthens silly, there's always another who is encouraged to drink more and bundled the rest of the company, if the spur, that if you wait a bit, which put me last, and the mind becomes dull, and all end up joining with many difficulties and going home with halting step, the mist and see.

That world of men in bars, hours and hours posted on stools at the bar, or more foot-ie, not sitting around a table in conversation with a coffee or just a drink, the conversation at the heart, "he has tried very happy moments in this novel, but also in others. Thus, in a first strike, I remember two of Richard Russo, Not a fool (particularly memorable thanks to Sully) and Empire Falls, and several of the first Luis Mateo Díez, as provincial stations, The Fountain of Age or shipwrecked The record, in which, with the backdrop of Franco over black, the characters only reached a modest respite tascuces bar Zinc and much sawdust on the floor, and wine shrimp shells bully, while repeated or salacious droll occurred. And I'm sure other readers could provide many more examples. On television a number of successful recall in the eighties, Cheers.
attractive
What makes these scenes is the magic of literature, of course. And in particular mood, somber, very black, ironic, sarcastic, cynical, or supported on pure bad milk, lively dialogues that portray the men with their perfectly cloud point, hopelessness, misogyny, grace and pain.

thing different is that, if we abandon the premises of the literature and talent of the novelist, and we came to the municipal reality, we run into many specimens, after consuming many hours of his life in bars, drinking, and sputtering with the tongue of cloth when the alcohol does its job have reached prized honors in the gallery of the phantoms. In my "real" life, if I may say so (is not real my time between books?), I have met many types of those who were merely a phlegm, at least when they reached a degree of maceration enough.
