Tim, born in California in 1958 is a director, producer, writer and designer. The
most of his films are characterized by the presence of imaginary worlds beings whose protagonists are usually misfits and enigmatic, but with a captivating character.
This hallmark is evident in films such as Batman and The Nightmare Before Christmas, the latter produced by him.
acquired great fame by directing successful films including Edward Scissorhands and found Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Since he directed his first feature film (The Big Adventure Pee-Wee), is now directing and producing numerous films, some of them have been greatly rewarded. With Corpse Bride was nominated for an Oscar for best animated film in 2006.
addition, this year has released its version of Alicia in Wonderland, which reflects his personal view on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass, both works of Lewis Carroll.
