Karl Lagerfeld
Karl (Otto) Lagerfeld (September 10, 1933, Hamburg, Germany) collector, photographer, interior designer and fashion icon, is the most prestigious German designer and one of the most influential of the late twentieth century (despite not having ever studied or have academic title).
As he said:''Aside from the fashion and photography, no good.''
Although always has said he grew up in a wealthy family in luxury, castles and butlers the reality is that his family was quite common.
Karl Lagerfeld emigrated to Paris at 14 years. In the age of 17, Lagerfeld was awarded a position at Pierre Balmain, after winning a contest sponsored by the International Wool Secretariat.
He made his name as an independent operator, working with a variety of different fashion houses that include names like Chloe, Fendi and Chanel. Furthermore, in the 80 he founded his own label, called Lagerfeld.
In 2004, Lagerfeld collaborated with the Swedish fashion firm H & M offered a limited number of different brands in selected malls. Only two days after selection malls, H & M had announced that all items had been exhausted. Lagerfeld has said he is not afraid to work with most popular companies from getting on your image.
Lagerfeld is currently chief executive of Chanel House design. Never wanted to make clothes for children. A curious fact is that he knows by the look that takes almost forever.
is because as he says: "Just look to the future. I am not interested in either the past or the present." That is the optimism that characterizes him and led him to where he is now.
Hated or loved one (there is no middle), Karl Lagerfeld will continue to create new collections because "only good for that."
Here I leave the page of your brand. (:
